Getting started

This page takes you from sign-up to a first signed validation document.

Create your organization

  1. Go to the sign-up page and enter your name, email address, a password, your organization's name and a workspace address (the subdomain your team uses, for example acme for acme.gxpvalidate.app).
  2. Confirm your email address.
  3. You are now the owner of the new organization, and a free trial starts. No card is needed for the trial; see Billing.

The workspace address is permanent, so pick something short. Some addresses (such as www, app, admin and help) are reserved.

Invite your team

Open Users (in the main menu) and invite each person by email with a role (Admin, Member or Reader). Invitations are valid for 7 days. See Organization and users.

If your company uses an identity provider, set up single sign-on before inviting people, so they sign in with their company account from day one.

Validate your first system

  1. Create a system (the computerised system you are validating) and give people their per-system roles: Author, Reviewer, Approver (QA) and Tester. See Systems and roles.
  2. Write and approve the Validation Plan.
  3. Answer the System Risk Assessment. It gives the system risk and the deliverables you need. See Risk assessment.
  4. Write the specifications (URS, then FS / DS / IS) and risk-assess each requirement. See Requirements.
  5. Write and approve the Test Protocol. See Test cases.
  6. Execute the tests, manually or as automated runs, and attach evidence. See Executions.
  7. Close any deviations. See Deviations.
  8. Clear the RTM gaps and sign the Validation Summary Report. See Traceability matrix.

Sign in

Sign in at your workspace address or on the main sign-in page; you are taken to your own organization's workspace. If your organization enforces SSO, use Sign in with SSO.
